How does a smart business card work?
Each Tapqora card contains an NFC chip and a QR code. Hold the card near a compatible phone and your live profile opens in the phone's browser; one more tap saves your details to their contacts. Phones without NFC can scan the QR code instead.
Does the other person need an app?
No. Most iPhones from the XS onwards and most NFC-enabled Android phones read the card with their built-in reader. Some cases, settings or older models may prevent NFC reading, which is why every card also carries a QR code.
Can I change my details after the card is printed?
Yes. The card links to your profile, so any change you make in your dashboard — a new title, number or link — appears the next time someone taps. The printed card never needs replacing for a profile change.
What's the difference between the cards?
Starter carries the Tapqora design with no personal print. Everyday — our most popular card — is printed with your name, title and company. Wood is printed on natural wood with an NTAG424 DNA chip for advanced security. Black metal is matte stainless steel with your details laser-engraved — our premium card. All four include the same free profile. A custom gold-plated edition is reserved for Tapqora Black members, by invitation.
What happens when someone taps Save contact?
Your full contact card — name, title, company, phone, email, website and links — downloads to their phone. Before it does, they're invited to share their name plus their LinkedIn, email or phone with you. Their details appear in your dashboard and you get an email. They can skip this and still save your contact.
Are there limits on taps or contacts?
No. There is no limit on taps, contact saves or contacts shared with you. Your profile can show up to 5 custom links and a bio of up to 280 characters.
Where do you deliver?
The UK, the European Union, the United States and Canada, with free tracked delivery. The price at checkout is the price you pay: EU orders ship from France and Canadian orders from Quebec, so there are no customs charges. If a US carrier charges import duty on a standard order, send us the receipt and we'll reimburse it.
